Bread, cheese and pocket knife. The still life shows a scene that seems simple at first glance, but on closer inspection reveals a sense of home and freedom.

Now – at the beginning of June everything starts to bloom at the same time here in Val Müstair. I cut from my favorite roses in my garden and painted them in a small Moroccan bowl.
