I painted this little picture at the beginning of the year when you could get fresh, ripe clementines at the market.
Corsican clementines can be recognized by their dark green leaves and thin skin. They are quite small and have a delicate flavor.

Here in Val Müstair, summer comes to the valley almost at the same time as spring. No sooner has the yellow from the dandelion faded, the meadows bloom in all colors.
