In my current creative process as an artist, I have been working intensively with works from the 16th century, including the Dutch painter Jacob van Walscapelle. His depictions of lush bouquets of flowers and how he uses them to paint the transience of nature in an impressive way are typical of him. For me, they symbolize the beauty and fragility of life.

By taking inspiration from his style and subject matter, I have embarked on a creative journey that has enriched my own work and opened up new dimensions

It is a tribute to the masterpieces of past eras and at the same time an expression of my own artistic vision.
